Ben in GNG[]
Ben is leader of the first platoon in Riki's pack. He is strong, patient, wise and loyal to the great Leader. Before he joined the group, Ben was a hunting dog in the town, Kofu. The female dog, Cross is his mate and with her, he gets the puppies Ken, George and Minnie.
Earlier Ben's good heart and thoughtfullness saved the life of the Kai-brothers and Akame. This turns out to be at his favor when he seek them out to make them join the fight against Akakabuto. However, Ben get's poisened during the complications that follows when he tries to convice Akame to follow him. This damages his sight and leaves him half blinded.
After the final battle agains Akakabuto, Ben's mate Cross is kidnapped and Ben quickly follows Gin to save her. He fights Mukonga, the gatekeeper of Reima's lair, and defeats him. Mukonga hits Ben in the head, which have the effect that Ben's eyes are healed for a short time and he regains his sight for awhile. Ben also kills Big Horn, one of Gaia’s soldiers.

Ben is the father of Ken, George and Miney. He is blind and lives in Kofu with his mate Cross. Lately, Ben has been tortured with nightmares and he keeps thinking that there is something wrong in Ou.
After bumping into Rocket, Jet and Missile, Ben follows their trail and finds his old friend, John dead (killed by Hougen). He carries John home to the village where Ben's owner, Iguchi, bury him.
Afterwards, Ben decides together with his mate that they have to go to Ou. On the way, they meet Akame who tells them about Weed and the threat Hougen is in Ou. Akame takes the two to a hideout, where they stay until Akame take them to Weed's base.
During the final battle against Hougen, Ben is badly wounded. Hougen attacks him and bites his head hard. However, Ben shakes him off and survives.
Ben dies from old age and his death is mourned by the entire Ou army.
