Great is the second platoon leader in Riki’s pack. He is a strong and charismatic dog, but he dosen’t play any big role in the story. Great separated from Gin's group to talk Bemu, the leader of Satsuma, into joining the pack.
Bemu doesn't want to join and now tests Great's loyality towards the Leader. The dog Bemu asks him to lie down on a railroad track and forces him to stay there to prove his loyality. Bemu saves him in the last moment before the a train hits Great and decides to join the platoon.
